February 19, 200917 yr Bone bolts were nerfed a long time ago, they haven't been worth using since then. They're simply too slow to consider even for low def monsters. Also, don't use bronze bolts. The difference between bronze and iron bolts is HUGE, much bigger than any other two bolts. Always use minimum of iron, but try to use broad if you have the slayer. February 19, 200917 yr Bone c'bow nerfed? Sure. Ineffective? Certainly not. The bone c'bow is the lowest costing ranged weapon in the entire game. At 3-4GPs each, you're hitting around 14s and 15s at your current level. The low cost of the bolts lets you ignore dropped bolts when you're using a safe spot, something you'd be less inclined to do with more expensive bolts. For a pure damage per cost comparison, bone c'bow is most likely one of the top choices out there for ranged. Only the rune c'bow + broad combo seems to be a clear cut better choice. As for actual experience per hour, the bone c'bow is mediocre. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
