Well at School, we have Mac OS X.

I think I went UP a class to the Mac's since usually people 1 year higher use Mac's, although there are some people my age (that are erm bad with PC's) in their.

Anyway, whats a good Mac guide? Like how to copy and paste? Taskmanager (The Mac version), the Mac Version of Ctr-Alt-Del.

Any help is needed, all short cuts you know, POST THEM, I will read them, memorize them and use them. Thank you :)

I have no experience with Macs, but you should change the title to something like "Going from Windows to OSX - Need Help".

O and the first paragraph is a little hard to read. Something like "I just starting using Macs at school" would be enough.

Sorry I can't help.

The taskmanager on mac osx is called Activity Monitor which you can just search for through spotlight. It doesn't really have the same importance as on a PC, because of command + Q and if you hit the apple up in the top left corner you scroll down and there is an option for force quit. Laura got all the important commands that you will need. Also command is the ctrl on macs.

Thank you very much.

I will be looking at the sites and memorizing the short cuts (still got around 50+ Windows to memories, and yet I still can't do my times tables of by heart :l )

If anyone else has any more information that'd be appericated. Heck I might look into buying an old out dated Mac to learn a bit more about them.

A little sidetrack question here but does anyone know how to enable numlock with Mac keyboards?

The PC's at our school have been replaced by Mac Mini's but are still using Windows XP with the un-ergonomically designed flat KB. We log on using our student ID numbers and it becomes a hassle pressing the top row numbers.

This KB btw
