Yup, exactly what happened with pies and opulent tables. If the GE price is far, far below the actual worth, it becomes a merchanting item and the value skyrockets. Since tables and pies have recently been rebalanced, for all we know this could be Jagex fixing the problem in their own way. And it seems to be working quite well, despite the occasional whinings of people who don't understand.

I think he means that since noone will buy them for money anymore, so they will become junk traded.

Not a chance, I rarely post without contributing to the discussion. A heck of a lot better then most H&A threads where 9 out of 10 of the posters didn't bother to read past the title, are simply repeating something mentioned earlier, or are dead wrong.

Do you merchant much? If you do, you'd realize that potential worth can be FAR more then previous values; opulent tables soared to 35 times their 'actual value' when this happened to them. Despite the fact that they were obtainable for 1m, they were selling for over 3.5. All items like this are kicked into high demand because of it.

(and now I"ve said enough sorry already). - Don't be such a nitpick, really there are many benefits to not live by the piont of the law! And that also counts for searching "things against the rules" in forums, nobody benefits from such a discussion and hijacking of a thread. I have no control over how you interpret my posts but I can assure you I'm not whining and crying. Granted, I don't go around praising them 24/7 unlike many, and it's no secret I think they're for the most part a bunch of idiots, but I don't whine or cry about it.

This is true. But Omali fights fire with kerosene, i.e. he goes into troll mode and insults the person he's talking to. You, on the other hand, seem to get overly defensive but do so in a manner which contributes to the discussion and proves your point. And I can understand why you do so.

 

 

 

Anyhoo, back to the topic at hand... which I really have nothing to add to. Except to ask if it appears Jagex, between this and tightening BH security, is reembarking on a RWT inquisition.
