Yes I used a uk proxy to trick it. My account is still up and running but if your right we'll see how long it lasts. As long as I can get like 3 days out of it though, I'll be happy.

They added over 5,200 albums and singles to the music catalogue today (in total over 72,000 new tracks). Full listing.

Sorry for the double-posting. Just wanted to let my fellow Europeans know that if you really want Spotify but you're in a country where the free version of Spotify currently isn't available (invite codes don't work etc.), then you can just purchase a premium account, ~10eur/month. It apparently works in most European countries.

Had problems with it last night and tonight and according to the help thing, i'm not the only one. There's an admin or something looking into it so hopefully it'll be sorted this weekend.

EDIT: Solved problem, seemed my firewall was blocking it connecting to the server.

Still working but today I opened it up and it had a yellow notification at the top that said "Your location does not match your profile. You can travel with Spotify for 14 days." So I'm numbered in the days I have left. I might try and find a proxy but I've had a good run with it to conclude that it is a very good service and a lot better then I had imagined. Anyone you can and hasn't signed up for the service should. I give it two thumbs up.

This is a great piece of software to use, it's really changed the way I listen to music  I was referred by my sister, and it's good because I'm in the UK <3:

Can't wait until this comes out in the U.S. Going through a bit of a Last.Fm addiction, so the fact that it works with that is great.

I LOVE SPOTIFY SO MUCH :D

They're trying to sort out a Spotify mobile service which will even work when you can't get signal e.g. underground

The NME article on it's here: http://www.nme.com/news/spotify/44935

I wonder how long it's going to be able to last just on advertising though D:

Not proud of myself, but I did what you did. There was a whole article on wired.com talking about how people everywhere in the U.S. are doing the same thing. :P In any case, it's working great. Love the program. Took me a while to figure out but I was also able to have it sync with my last.fm. If I get at least 2 weeks out of it like stevepole, I'll be happy.
