pyrodoc2021 Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 I'm wanting to get 80 Prayer after hearing on how Jagex wants to update prayer, and because it would be even more useful. My question is, should I buy the 4.8k dragons bones I need, or kill green dragons for them? I know if I buy them, it will cost me around about 16 mil. I normally would be lazy and just buy the bones, but I'm nearly broke at the moment (4m only). Another question is, How long would hunting and collecting the bones take at green dragons in the wild? One option would be to hunt the dragons, while collecting the bones, I could sell the hides to buy more bones. What road should I take? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gorgoroth Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Well to be honest, i would buy the bones, range Aviansies and use the money made there to buy more bones, or you could just slay green dragons and keep the bones, sell the hides and buy more bones(as you mentioned). Im almost certain that the new Prayer update is going to either make Prayert training a bit easier, or make prayer more usefull(more prayers) so i would not level my prayer just yet. abbydog95 Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Buy as many bones as possible (save them) then go to green drags by Clan Wars, fill up your best B.O.B. w/ bones + green drag. hides, tele to castle wars, bank, tele to Clan Wars repeat, this is a very fast way to get bones + hides, sell your hides, buy more bones ( around every 1k sell the hides just incase bones skyrocket) buy more bones, enjoy. I would try to raise money the fastest way you can, or just hunt Green Dragons for the bones and sell the hides, like you said. If you do that, then I would just kill 2.4k Green Dragons for half the dbones, then sell the hides, and use that money along with some of your 4m to buy the other half. Im not sure about how long it would take to get 2.4k dbones. Shouldnt take over a week, I think... But I think buying bones for Prayer xp is pretty cheap =P.
