Slayer - Lesser Demons

Hi,

 

 

 

I got 70 lesser demons as a task for slaying. I've never attempted to kill these before except once in Dragon Slayer, and that's a long time ago...

 

 

 

So what I should I attack with (Melee or Mage (I'm good with both :)), and what should i wear for attacking these?

 

 

 

Melee Kit: Rune bodyplate, Rune Legs, Dragon Longsword, Dragon Med Helm, Wealth Ring, Ammy of Power

 

Inventory; Lobsters, Teleport runes (or Ecto Thing)

 

 

 

Mage: Full Mystic, Wealth Ring, Ammy of Power

 

Kit: Runes, Lobsters, Ecto thing

 

(Note: No idea what spell to use)

 

 

 

Note: Stats in sig. (summoning - 25, range -44)

 

 

 

Is that the right kit, or would you recommend different? What spell is it best to attack them with?, and where is the best place to attack them?

 

Any other info for attacking them (with mage or melee) is helpful :D

You could just mage them using fire bolt (lvl 35) in the karamaja volcano. There is a safe spot if you find it, which would make your task pretty easy. I would brind some food though because sometimes you get hit.

Well, I got 162 lesser demons task once... I did it with fire strikes. (I got 43-50 mage in the process :P).. You should just melee them, their drops are bad and you will lose cash if you mage them.

 

 

 

HINT: Do the fremennik isles and get helm of neitiznot, it's cheaper and much better than dragon med.

Is that the right kit, or would you recommend different? That's pretty good, personally i wouldn't wear a ring of wealth unless you wanted to chance getting a few more rune meds. Replace the dragon med with a black mask if you can afford one. Take a shield aswell.

 

 

 

What spell is it best to attack them with?, and where is the best place to attack them? The best spell to use would be the best spell you can cast ;) However you might find it more cost efficient doing a basic chaos rune spell (a good mix might be a death one). If you want to safespot them with your magic, you can do that in Karamja volcano - or Taverly dungeon, and there's also one on the top floor of the Wizards tower south of Draynor (bring telegrab runes though!)

You're a new member, aren't you? Get a glory, get a black mask, and use monkfish instead of lobsters. Also use a DDS for specs (switch to longsword when your spec bar is empty) and bring super attack and super strength potions.

theres an always empty spot in the temple of ikov by the way.

50 Slayer doesn't seem like a new member :P

 

 

 

I'd suggest melee.

 

 

 

Get a Black Mask with no charges, this will help you immensely while slaying.

 

Also, when you can, do Monkey Madness, this unlocks the Dragon Scimitar, which is an amazing weapon, along with the whip, one of the best non-godsword weapons in the game.

 

And wear a Glory, so you can teleport to Edgeville when your task is done, that is assuming you are using Vannaka as your slayer master.

 

 

 

Other than that, you're set up is fine, and with the debate over monkfish or lobsters, divide the cost by how much they heal, and pick the cheaper of the two. :D

I did a task of 100 or so lesser demons at about 60 attack, 60 str and 50 def and I was fine. I did it in karamja volcano and everytime I need to refuel on food I'd go to Tzhaar. You'll definitely be fine if you melee them.

Thanks guys, Completed the task and got 50 slayer and 68 mage during the process :D

 

 

 

And im gonna get a black mask soon!!!, might do some chinning for the money.

Nah, I've been a member for about 2 years, but didn't really focus that much on combat, and i tended to attack stuff a lot lower then me, so that didn't help. But i've sorta changed hat now, im bored with non-combat skill :P

Amulet of power and lobbies are a good sign.
