Im looking for a good setup to kill 154 abby specters without using the prayer method..i only have about 1m to spend on this so obviously Karils/Ahrims is out of the question...All Advice is Welcome

is karil's worth it for the extra defence since i cant use prayer pots?

it would cost too much for me to do pots and last time i went to abby spectre's i lost way too much money and made almost non

If you can summon a macaw then you will be almost guaranteed to make more then what you used up. Honestly, use around 4 p pots (pray flick if you want to save more) and you will get at least 6+ rannars to cover the trip. You may even need to bank all the valuable herbs your going to be getting.

 

 

 

Throw on initiate\monks robes\prossy and nose peg and your good to go (focus on offensive since your going to be taking no damage).

Even with karil's i have big trouble tanking them, so d'hide will make things a bit harder but possible.

 

 

 

Anyways prayer method at slayer cave is a lot faster/better :

how many p pots would i need if i use a setup that has a +21 prayer bonus? i probably wont prayer flick because last time i tried that i got killed

I use only about 15 ppots, but i profit a lot anyways when i finish task. Once i made 600k there is a 153 spectres task :D

ur also 15 lvls higher than me in prayer which is why i asked for a amount u think i might need so i can be ready

You used 15 pray pots on one task? O.o I used like 7-8 iirc. I also made a profit so you shouldn't have to worry about losing money tbh. :

Just bring black d'hide and a lot of good food.

Don't forget your salve amulet, preferably enchanted.

Prayer flash, 2 p pots can get you through 200 specters if your good.

yea again im NOT going to prayer flash because last time i died from it..and i refuse to do it again so ill be just praying at all times

you might even want to think of taking a super attack and strenght to kill them faster?

 

i use bout 4 p pots for 153 task..

 

i pick up kwarm/ranarr and any other high level herbs that sell well im sure at your level you WILL end up getting more ranarrs then you use prayer pots . just make sure you dont waste your prayer

Just pray them. With similar melee stats as you, prosolyte, 70 prayer, pray flashing, sgs, and a chapel + canifis telepoprt portal in my house (I bank once a task with a terrorbird) I don't use any prayer potions. You would probably use a maximum of 2 potions, which is more then payed for with the herb drops, and is far more practical then food. And you wouldn't have to buy any gear. Also, always use super attack and strength.

well i dont get how the whole prayer flicking thing works because it seems like when i try to do that i get killed..so i really dont want to do that...at 60 prayer with a pray bonus of 21 i want to know how many pots ill need because im NOT going to pray flick..so no offence but stop suggesting it.

Just buy a fair bit and sell back what you don't use.

There you go, cheap inventory, that's what I always do (2 trips each task, banking the good stuff).

When they raise their hands to attack you, put your prayer on. As soon as you see the 0 turn it off. It's simple and after a bit it becomes mindless, that is you don't need to activly think about it, you just know the timing.

As soon as the attack starts turn it off. The damage is set when the attack starts.
