61-65 Herblore... fastest/cheapest?

Featured Replies

I feel like a noob for asking this. #-o

But herblore is SO expensive to just get 3 levels. :( And is pretty much the most difficult skill to DIY.

The only problem is, I NEED IT FOR MY QUEST CAPE. :(

I was thinking of selling my d axe then...

1. Tele to waterbirth and collect snapes, tele back to varrock (GE), rinse & repeat.

2. Buy WFV & Ranarr (while growing some as much as I can)

3. Make prayer pots.

4. Sell pots.

5. Wash rinse repeat.

Or is there an easier method...?

^That's a pretty good way to train, but there are much better, more efficient ways in themselves.

I cant remember the things you can make at your level, but I *do* know you can do NPC trading for over 600k per hour. I think that covers quite a bit of prayer potion losses p/hour.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

1. MTK is a great source of herbs when you set it to provide.

2. Killing cave crawlers or other low-level summon tasks tend to provide a surprising amount of herbs.

3. Farm toadflax, and trade those herbs for some more profitable herbs. For higher level herblorists, toadflax are king, but for low levels you are better served with irits and avantoe.

NPC trading...? I don't understand what you mean...

I was thinking about doing Fist of Guthix and getting herb gloves - only problem is the ones available aren't exactly the most useful herbs at my level.

Does MTK give mostly good quality herbs? I've been scared to try, I've always stuck with maples for the tree seeds.

Thanks for your tips. The G.E really wrecked herblore economics because of pot dumpers.

Also, you can use a greenman's ale to complete it at only 64 herblore.

New-wave tried to destroy the metal, but the metal had its way

Grunge then tried to dethrone the metal, but metal was in the way

Punk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strong

Techno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrong

Yea!Metal!

It comes from hell!

Super strength pots all the way!

Goals:

94 magic

94 ranged

55 slayer

Addy gloves-done

Super strength pots all the way!

As of today, Super Strengths were the cheapest potion to make, in terms of gp/xp, of all the potions.

Try not to tell everyone :-$, I might do some herblore myself.

Almost there. :o Doing MTK, toadflax farming/trading, and super str pots.

If I get a hilt drop this week, I might hoard it onto herblore before they become less economical. :ohnoes:

Got a Spirit Tree Seed. :o

Only 17 farming levels needed. #-o
