99rangepl0x Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 Well, I'm off to GWD to begin my journey of 90-99 range at Avie's and was wondering a good equipment setup with the stats I currently have. My current budget is 11m any ideas? I have seen many guides but there are many alternatives to each equipment and was just wondering the best/obtainable for my account. *Note* I will be using Range Pots/Excalibur for Defense boost. This is the setup i used at Aviansies to get maximum Ranged Attack bonus: Robin Hood Zammy Body Zammy Legs Sara Book (extra Def) Arma Pendant Ranger Boots Regen Brace (HP regain) Rune Xbow Accumulator Broad Bolts. 11mil setup when i used it. You really dont need to waste 5mil on a silly helm just so you could use a Fury. It's perfect! ;P Swap the Bandos Tassets out for a pair of Torags Legs, the Torags has only one less Range def bonus and they cost a helluva lot less. You only need to use Climbing Boots if you havent done Eadgar's Ruse quest to unlock Trollheim (sp?) Teleport. If you have done the quest you should get Snakeskin Boots. What i use to do was bring the boots i was gonna wear and have climbing boots on. Once i got there i would drop the climbing boots and equip the other boots. Prayer bonus is handy if you use 10% range, which you should.
