But how 200 people somehow managed to do that I have no idea, but that's one way.

There's is always the slightest possibility of an electron splitting an atom in your body causing a micro-nuclear explosion. Sounds like a good way to die.

 

 

 

Atoms in the human body aren't unstable enough to let a reaction occur and cause a real explosion. A single atom wouldn't do much.

i was interested/intrigued by this a few months back.

 

there are lots of speculations about how this could happen, but none have actually been proven.

 

 

 

I lent the book with lots about it to a friend, so i cant quote directly, but as i recall....

 

in most cases, the flames barely even mark/damage the persons surroundings, e.g. one woman died while in bed. and there were no burn marks on any of the sheets.

I think this mystery was solved by Randy Marsh of South Park, Colorado several years back. Basically it involves people needing to pass wind rather than hold it in, yet if too many people do this global warming will kill us all... so it is all about moderation and controlling when you should fart :D
