Conversely, then...if you get a 99, what are some ideas for hosting a party? Back to the POH? Mini-Game? There's no real 'protocol', people seemingly rarely give gifts, you can if you want, but it's by no means necessary. As for hosting, I have no idea. March 25, 200917 yr Most people don't give gifts at 99 parties. If your friend is having a drop party, you could put a few things in the chest, but that's about it. As for the party, most people (including myself) go somewhere nice, level the skill by either training it or using a lamp, getting the cape, then go to a minigame like stealing creation, clan wars, castle wars, fight pits, soul wars, or any team based game.

March 26, 200917 yr In my experience, the person getting the achievement is usually the one who does the "giving." Like rsautohater alluded to, many people host drop parties at their level 99 party. So it's really them giving to the guests. But like another user said, there aren't any guidelines or qualifications for hosting a party. March 26, 200917 yr Just don't say something stupid like "gratz on 99 bar-making nub i wub u nao make me some r00n<3333333333" A simple "Congratulations on 99 smithing!!!" is just as effective and doesn't make you look like a tool.
