April 5, 200917 yr No, it's illegal for ANYONE to post nude pictures of minors, plus she was making child porn by photographing herself. This is how it is in Canada anyway We all acknowledge she technically broke the law here, but justice isnt a wall of text. The laws she broke were designed to protect children from abuse, the lady who wanted the law said this is ridiculous, and finally we are using the courts to give children a time out. The only person she hurt by this was herself, so why should she be punished? Her punishment should be the emparisment of society + her parents, she needs to get councling, not jail time. But we all know what her future career is =D> Football player space cowboy? No. Clearly its a football playing king in space. With a mustache. So she's going to turn out to be a squid hobo living a box that gets foreclosed?
April 5, 200917 yr Yes... Plus nobody will take her pictures. So she'll have to eat them. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
April 6, 200917 yr The girl needs counselling not jail. The pictures may have attracted unwanted predators but that is a huge life lesson in itself. The issue lies with this young girl's self esteem - that she doesn't need to draw attention to herself via means of taking her clothes off. There could also be underlying issues such as sexual assault or rape when she was younger and so is acting out. If this young girl goes to jail, I'll be joining the petition and passing it along to get rid of such pathetic laws. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

Hate to tell you, but USA is more about warehousing offenders rather than rehabilitating. By the way, everyone is missing a large part of this If convicted of the distribution charge, she would be forced to register with the state as a sex offender under Megans Law, said state Attorney General Anne Milgram. She also could face up to 17 years in jail, though such a stiff sentence is unlikely. IF, IF convicted. There hasn't been a decision yet

The girl wanted to be popular/accepted by [high school] society that she posed nude. What I call a [bleep]. What I call a [bleep]. and she chose to look popular by posing nude because her self esteem is low, goddess just said the more formal explanation. on topic goddess--the law doesnt need to be repealed, just revised to take into consideration the problems with cell phones and "self abuse". Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
April 6, 200917 yr You really think its that complex? The girl wanted to be popular/accepted by [high school] society that she posed nude. What I call a [bleep]. Even if your theory were to be correct there's still a motivation for the need to be liked which comes down to esteem. So yes, it's that complex. I suggest you look up the true definition of your last word. goddess--the law doesnt need to be repealed, just revised to take into consideration the problems with cell phones and "self abuse". You'd be surprised just how many teenage girls take these kinds of photos for their boyfriends to see and then it gets in the wrong hands but they don't think about it at the time. Because that's what teenagers do, they do things that sound fun at the time and then when they grow up they wonder how on Earth they're still here or what motivated them to do such a silly thing. Going to jail for this kind of thing is bloody ridiculous, with any sense this will be thrown out the window. The law is there to protect children from predators and predators who post these kinds of images of innocent children. The girl is not a predator, she's someone who made a mistake and will now have to live with the harassment by ignorant conservatives and media. That's more than enough punishment. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
