Lunar Cooking

'ello,

So I'm always looking for cooler ways to train skills, especially magic. This morning I saw the spell "bake pie" and I figured this would be a nice way to train magic, since you get 1620 xp magic (60x27) per inventory and another 5670 xp in cooking (when baking admiral pies). With current prices:

Cooked Salmon: 50 gp

Cooked Tuna: 74 gp

Potato: 51 gp

pot of flour: 14 gp (I'll be buying this in shops)

Bucket of Water: 4 gp

Pie dish: 18 gp

Astral Rune: 145

_____________________+

356 gp total

Price of Admiral Pie: 367

With current prices I can even make a little profit this way.

I'll be doing this till I have 80 cooking (5856 pies). Now I was wondering if this would be good way to train both skills and if some people have some tips to do this faster or more efficient?. I'll get 84 magic this way too.

Tips and answers would be welcome,

Sounds like a heck of clicking for the preparation of the raw pie.

You are better off alching ::'

If you want a cool way to train magic, do string jewellery...fast and easy xp, you barely click <3:

Can't use a spell you don't have a level for, I'm thinking koen was planning on stringing once s/he got 80 magic. And once you do get 80 magic stringing is the best way to level magic.

Anything you have on hand. You don't get more exp for fancier amulets, but you do get to alch them for higher value, or enchant them if you want to go that route.

String is an expensive way to level, so I always look for slightly cheaper ways to get it done. Good luck!

Best thing is just do gold amulets and either sell them to the rogue from the Summer Quest Series or sell to a player that can sell it to the rogue.

In Brimhaven south of agility arena there is an NPC who will buy amulets of str/power from you for a reasonable price. I don't know if noted works, but it's worth investigating as well.
