I don't care about the price of arcane, it's +20 mage attack where mage's book is +15

I really don't see this as an achievement of your own. You went to a boss and didn't get a drop. That is basically the whole premise of the thread. Grumpy should have posted a thread for getting the rarest drop in the game, you shouldn't have.
