What would be a good setup to kill these as i got 83 slayer today and ive only ever been GWD twice.

 

were would best place in GWD to kill them and would i need to pray while killing them?

prosy god items for protection and i heard if sara mages are fighting something u dont have to pray

I wear prosylite and a Zammy item, bring about 10 prayer potions and a couple super attacks (and possibly super strengths if I feel like it), and pray mage.

 

 

 

The best spots to kill them (that I know of) are either just inside the entrance to the Zammy stronghold or just oustide the door to the Zammy boss room.

Aye, this is what I do when I kill them. They don't have very much HP, so it doesn't take much Prayer while killing them. Piety flipping is also extremely useful.

I use black d hide body, sara chaps, arm pendant etc etc and whip and gs them. Bring 2 or 3 super attacks, and a super str or 2. I kill them to the west as you go down the GWD rope. They are more often than not killing other monsters, so prayer is onloy needed occasionally.

I think the belief that zammy mages are superior to sara mages is incorrect. I've gotten literally dozens of dragon boots from sara mages, and never eaten a single prayer sip.

 

 

 

I wear zammy book in left hand, and sara hide top, along with black hide chaps. Armadyl's pendant helps, too, in case you take a detour.

 

 

 

The trick is to wait until Sara mages are engaged with something else. They love to fight the werewolf and goraks, and are terrible fighters against other monsters. Once they engage, you can smash them until they die, or their opponent dies, and they will not attack you.

 

 

 

If their opponent dies before they do, be ready to toggle protect mage. They will turn their sites on you, and they are very strong against playing characters.

Killing sara mages is a waste of time, you'll get your zammy mage kills much faster and the loss of money on ppots is neglectible. I use 4 ppots (4) on a task of 200 mages. Weild proselyte with a zammy item, preferably a cape or zamorak robe bottom. You'll only lose 1 pray bonus and you have the slots for your defender and fury. Bring super attacks and super strengths as you should at any task. Killing them inside the zamorak camp near the entrance to the boss is the easiest. Replace one ppot with a super restore because the snow drains your stats (including Slayer). Oh and bring a few monkfish just in case, if your hp gets below 70 you won't be able to enter the zamorak part of GWD.
