Idea for a quick highscores.

Featured Replies

Ok, instead of just listing a players combat level when you hover your mouse over them, you could turn on the option to show skill total too, or even any skill you wanted to know by option.

Maybe highest skill?

Just a way to not have to open up another window for highscores, or use SwiftSwitch.

Seems like a good idea, and if you didn't want it, you could just turn it off...

I think that might be pushing it a bit too far. After all, opening up another window and checking the high scores that way isn't really much of a hassle. I can look up someone in less than a minute's time. :?

Then you could turn off what you wanted other people to be able to view on you.

It's getting complicated now, which is why I don't see this happening.

Sounds good but complicated, would be nice if you could show one skill and one skill only, and choose if you wanted anyone to see any skill.

Like the peaple who stand yelling "free gem cutting!111!!!!1", that way yould could hover you mouse over the char to see if he really does have the required level to cutt you'r gems. And if he doesent show any skills there, then dont trust him or look at the high scores.

.....i think this idea is the idea of a very lazy person.

More lazy then using, say, SwiftSwitch?

I like this idea for a different reason other than not wanting to open up the high scores. I have been called a noob before because I have a low combat level, but that is because im a mage and unless people look you up in the high scores (which a lot of times they dont) they wont know that you may be a mage and not train combat

Some people(like me) have computers that lag up when we open extra windows and it'd be easier to have some sort of in game or in client function for checking high scores. For whoever said that they don't want someone to know their stats in wildy, that's stupid because they can find out anyway if they have a window open for highscores already(which they should do if they're a smart pker) so it's not like it would matter. There's been a lot of conjecture about adding in game options for examine or things like this to check people's skills. It'd be nice if they even included when you started playing so that I could show people how long I've been playing runescape. It'd come in really handy the next time a lvl 100+ combat calls me a noob. I could just ask them to kindly check my time playing so they can see that I've been playing twice as long as them or more.

Thats why you use SS my friend.

I don't intend on using anything for runescape made by anyone other than jagex because I don't know whether or not they'll steal my password. Depending on whether it's illegal to do so or not, I might make a client for my own use if I start practicing programming again.
