The chicken is still the chicken. If you don't like the carrot, you don't have to use the carrot.

In all honesty, I think your right. Players who have played longer deserve a status symbol. "Appeal of the masses", though. Make many new players happy rather then a few old players.

 

If you want to call the chicken a status symbol, then it still is. The "newer" players simply got an item with a similar function, but still looks *quite* different. So people that walk around with a rubber chicken still can be distinguished from the lower life forms that people think the new players are.

I mean really, all the rewards are for is fun, not status symbols. Of course, the have unfortunately evolved into such. Just look on the bright side, at least they're carrots and not chickens.

They are meant to be status symbols, to a degree. Otherwise they would have been available for more than one event.

The point of the damn thread was to "Vent my Frustration". instead I had players like you harrass the crap out of me saying im trying to be some pompus [bleep] who claims that apparently im ranting that im better then them, well Im not. I AM NOT BETTER. Can you get it know? shall I nail it to your bedroom door on your way out just for you to understand?!!?
