No, getting a Dragonfire Shield is not worth it if you own a Godsword because they cannot be used at the same time. On the other hand, if you have another single-handed weapon that you choose to use in conjunction with the Dragonfire Shield, then that's up to you. Parkzer.com

April 13, 200917 yr WAT A LONG QOUTE GUYS NO WAY I'M CONTINUEING IT :wall: seriously, talking here an owner of dfs (got visage myself), sgs, bandos&arma armos (and such craps :P ) DFS is really worth it, every penny. I even consider it better than 'almost' all the 200m+ spirit shields. BGS dosen't worth it. so yeah DFS>BGS. but not sgs. SGS>DFS. my conclusion to all you guys just said: SGS > DFS&WHIP > DEFENDER&WHIP > BGS > RANGE TANKER (cause i hate range :thumbdown: ) period.

Its not. Whip + Rune Defender >>>>> Whip + DFS. DFS should really only be used when killing dragons/wyverns. Other then that the Defender gets the job done better then a DFS.
