A sit down!!! [SUGESTION]

\/So let me introduce myself. I am a Long and Dedicated F2p Player and I have been playing Since Classic (Played about 1 Year of it).

 

 

 

--So as you go along runescape you notice many rooms with beds, stools,Chairs etc. And soon after opening the examine menu you will notice that only the examine option shows. This is rather disappointing and limits your game experience.

 

 

 

--What I sugesst is this ... TO BE ABLE TO SIT DOWN/LAY down on chairs/beds/rugs!!! It is a simple suggestion that would make the game THAT much better. Think about it. A clan going to a house after a battle and sitting down infront of a fireplace in a POH or in some part of runescape.

 

 

 

Of course one could make the argument that this would annoy as just by clicking on the ground in a certain spot would make your character sit down. Well read on and we will find out how to solve this

 

 

 

||Here is how my suggestion would be implemented||

 

- actions are added to the examine menues allowing you to ^lie down/sit. But you would HAVE to right click. Also ^there would be a small "Sit button" that would just let ^you sit wherever you currently are.(or on stumps/ large ^rocks etc.) Of course there would be limits as to ONTO ^WHAT you can sit down on. Also there should be a limit ^depenid on the object for people on it at 1 time. (ex. 1 ^person 1 chair. 3 people to a couch and 2 to a bed etc.)

 

 

 

Another freature added to it would be the effect of 2x run restore while sitting~Thanks erichhermit!~

 

 

 

Why I want this to be Implemented

 

Well for one thing I dont think It would be too complicated for the jagex team thus making it a realistic idea. Also it has always bugged me since in RSC you could "spleep" in beds and then i was like "Hey why cant i sit on the chairs? And why are there so many of them". First off this would add another one of those "little things" that would make the game more in depth and overall increasing by a tiny bit the enjoyment of playing rs(didin't know how else to put it.). Also it add a certain depth to the game if say a clan (F2P/P2P) wants to have a meeting they go to some place w/ lots of chairs (King rolands table anyone?) and have a meeting there? Well that is why I want this to be implemented.

I support, because why do Jagex just release them for nothing?and the worse thing its on F2P worlds, which have no access to sit on it. Whereas P2P can sit in their POH.

I think sitting should be incorporated instead of that "Rest" thing and make it recover run energy faster.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea. But I don't think we "need" it, so to peak, and I don't think it's very likely to be added.

Bingo, see the new DD. They didn't want to add benches because only one player could sit at a time (waiting lines) and it would cause all sorts of graphic glitches. Jagex +1, TIF 0. Even I hadn't thought of that, guess I have to learn to think outside the box :|
