Okay, I have a pile of crap installed on my computer called "Windows Vista" which I have to use because some games don't support Linux. Now, I found an evil beast called "Internet Explorer 7" which I can't remove! It's so terrible that I absolutely must get rid of it. But, I can't! No uninstall option! I hate M$!

I'm afraid you're stuck with it, IE is so integrated into Windows that other programs very likely require it (Or some libraries it introduces) to run.

Then I'll just get rid of Vista I guess...

 

 

 

I tried removing Internet Explorer folder and it only removed about half of the files... but I will remove the rest somehow. I hope.

Sure, it's really good (though it took me three months before I understood how to install it) :) I still have the install disc for Ubuntu so maybe it's time to switch to Linux again, and get rid of M$ products.

You are out of luck. However, as long as you don't set it as your default browser, I don't see why you would even need to remove it.

If you was to remove IE from windows (at least until Windows 7) you would break the windows install.

 

 

 

IE is integrated into explorer (and vice versa) as well as a lot other windows components.

 

 

 

Simple solution is to dual boot; work on one, game on the other.
