gorgoroth
Well i'm currently working on my goal of 99 Ranged, then i will move on to my goal of 99 Defense. So i was thinking, why not do them together? If i can get my ranged level 154k Exp from 95 it will be on the same mark as my defense level is now. From 95 - 99 ranged will net me about 55mil Cash, and if i decide to do it with long ranged its going to net me about 110mil cash. I know its going to take me twice as long, but this way i get to train two skills at once. I have never really tried trianing this way so i have no idea on whether or not this will be effective, all i know is that doing it this way ill make alot more money than i would have made training my Defense on Ankou or Armoured Zombies. Any advice on this? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
The_dmt1234
long rnage is slow so you're only getting 2 exp on rnage and defence so it's even slower, train ranged then defence ]
gorgoroth
long rnage is slow so you're only getting 2 exp on rnage and defence so it's even slower, train ranged then defence Well im not really THAT MUCH bothered about the speed. If its 1/3 of the speed of training on rapid then its okay. I,m much more concerned about the money i will be making. I aim to get 99 Smithing and 99 Herblore some time and that is going to require ALOT of money. But if i'm going to make more money by doing Ranged first, then Defense and then something else to make to money in the same time it would have taken me to get 99 Ranged/Defense using Long Ranged, then i would rather get them appart. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]

Lord Diddy
If money is the main factor, then do long range.
D Jay99
You'd get 18k range and 18 def xp/hour at aviansies. That's 36k in both in 2 hours. If I'm not mistaken, green dragons get you more xp than 36k/hour and make more money than aviansies. So, you'd be better off not doing long range, just range them normally and do the def xp at green dragons. - Higher levels can gain up to 432k gp's and 35.1k Exp per hour. And that's not using a familiar. So yes, doing them seperately would be a better option, but if you like aviansies a lot better than green drags, you could do long range. skylor12344
make more money than aviansies lol since when? avians can be anywhere from 400-600k/hr if done right and green drags are about 300-400k/hr

Expl0de
Since you're going for those goals, I'd say get whatever nets you the most profit. 110m should be enough for it, like you said. Unless you think you're gonna get lucky doing Slayer by training those two separately, then train together. Hope that made sense :-P

LMAO! Owned by a quote from my own guide. Yes, Green Dragons can be much more profitable. I'm sure ill be able to pull of a 550k per hour profit if i decide to go with Dragons, the question that bothers me is for how long i will be able to do it. I have tried doing 5k Greens without quiting and end up after only 2k. For some reason i find Green Dragons much more boring than Aviansies.make more money than aviansies lol since when? avians can be anywhere from 400-600k/hr if done right and green drags are about 300-400k/hr Check my guide for the Green Dragons Stats. Those stats were not just pulled out of my head but i actually spent a few days working on them. If you need any more proof i am sure Compfreak and Sir Hemen would be more than happy to provide you with it. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Seraphi
No. It'd be slower overall, you're better off just training rapid then using whip for defense.
