You will need 1 strength potion, fully charged prayer, 1 cabbageport-tele, and the rest inventory swordfish. May 25, 200917 yr I killed elvarg at 45 attack etc with rune platebody etc. I also took antifire and prayer potions with me and heaps of lobsters. A good prayer level will be helpful too. If you need a rune platebody, I have one that I no longer use that you can buy. Off Topic - One thing, don't you need to have completed dragon slayer to be able to wear the rune plate? On Topic - I cant remember what level i did it at :wall: I think you should level up combat stats a bit though. My Stats Suck :(
May 25, 200917 yr I did it at 40 attack, 40 defense, rune chain + full rune otherwise. I almost died with a full inventory of lobs. 30/30/30 you'll need to have an escape mech if you get unlucky. Whatever you do, DON'T range the dragon. For the love of GOD, don't range the dragon. You need at least an addy c'bow doing it on P2P. Maging it isn't good either. I piety the fool.
May 25, 200917 yr Get stats up to around 40, then it will be much easier. Use a stab weapon and strength potion and also tuna/lobsters/swordfish depending on how confident you are.
May 25, 200917 yr I've just completed dragon slayer, yay! Attack 45 Strength 55 Defence 45 I used rune chain, rune legs, rune scimitar, rune full helm, antidragonshield, 4 monkfish and a tele back to varrock. Am a very happy bunny :D
May 25, 200917 yr Well, the lowest stats I did it with were... 40 Attack (Rune Scimitar) 50 Strength (I potted too, for speed) 33 Defence The minimum I'd reccomend are 40/40/30. And thats with a potion too. If you want my opinion, get 40/45/33. With 33 Defence, the Defence EXP puts you at, or just below 40. Armour should be Adamant Helm, Legs, Platebody with the Anti-Dragon Shield. Rune Scimitar is the preferred weapon, however, a Rune Longsword would work. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

May 26, 200917 yr i maged elvarg all the times with wind bolt (took 150 chaos runes with me, and that was more then enough!) so don't say it's stupid! it's cheaper then risking rune items and plus you can wear antifire shield, safespot him, and he will only hit 5's which you will be able to heal.
