Bobthesaler
'm not going to go too into the issue or the specific clans involved. I just want to see if i can get any help with our problem, and see if any other clans have had problems like this. About 4 months ago a rather large group of people left our clan, to make a new clan. It was a rather large blow to us be we pulled through it. Recently, about a week ago they started crashing our events. (mainly godwar trips, fightpit wars, and anything else they can interfere with) through none of there crashes are successful we still want it to stop. I will go further into detail if i need to. Basically i want to know if there's a way to stop WITHOUT going on complete lock down (if this is possible) we do keep our events see able by public, and we know they claim to have spy's within our clan. I would rather not have to go through every single member checking if they are a spy or not, because... well in all honesty i don't even know how to do that. Anyway thanks in advance i hope this is the right place to post this.
decebal
If they really are annoying, you could crash them back?
Bobthesaler
I don't think that would do anything but start a crashing war, i just want to get it stopped.
Gamerr
Talk to them, communicate about the exact reason they crash you. If that doesn't work, try to ignore them. They obviously want attention, if you don't give them that they'll loose the "fun".
obfuscator
Ignoring them is the best option. In terms of spying, check which events get crashed. Try "spur of the moment" events to eliminate which members could be giving away information. Kimberly
You could try mixing up your schedule a little bit (ie don't have GWD events on the same day/time every week or whatever). If they're still getting it, then you know it's not just predictability. Someone's leaking info, intentionally or not. You could then start asking people to turn off private chat (and use the clan chat instead) while an event is going on BEFORE you switch to the world you plan to have an event on. At that point if you're still getting crashed, you could ask yourself--is it worth enduring? Or should you start investigating and cracking down? Mister_T
Clean your inactive users on the forum, other clans mostly hack inactive accounts to see your events. Or they join with an other accounts but stay inactive. You should get a stable AC, a clan wich pulls 120+ opts with out any problems. M on my Chest. Sanctus_Petrus
I think it's a bad idea to keep all your events public. There are some events you don't want to make public, especially Pk trips, wars and GWD trips. Basically, the defectors want your clan dead. By keeping your event public you are inviting them to attack.
The Observer
I think it's a bad idea to keep all your events public. There are some events you don't want to make public, especially Pk trips, wars and GWD trips. Basically, the defectors want your clan dead. By keeping your event public you are inviting them to attack. Unfortunately, I agree here. No matter how friendly and inviting it is for public onlookers, it is also inviting to those negative onlookers as well. You'd might as well put a target bib on at a shooting range. So yes, I'd say keep your crashable events private (and fun events can be kept public if you wish). Now this will be your first step if you're worried about spies, because if they still crash your events, it confirms that you have spies within your clan. As a few have stated above, try cleaning our your inactives (if you have any).
