Normally more programs equal more competition, which in turn equals higher quality. However, this is not the case with instant messaging. The more programs the less users will use any one program, and in the end this only hurts consumers.

They're working on it to make it work with MSN and AIM like what Trillian partly does. The only good thing so far on it is no ads :?

Well. The official beta is really nice. Very basic, but it works well. The thing I did notice was that the voice chat didn't suck like most of the other networks. It was actually much clearer than a phone. Also, it's nice that it works with all major multi-network im clients like gaim :)
