Kinosjourney
Im currently trying to get 99 woodcutting which i've wanted for quite a while but ive been to lazy to even go to draynor \ I just bought a dragon axe and got myself a skiller outfit and started cutting, ive been cutting a little each day since monday or so and i've cutted 4k willows so far (level 67-70 WC so far) and im beginning to think 99 will take a hell of a long time, since im lazy ill give up if i dont reach 85-90 fast enough and i really don't want to give up at another 99 skill. Anyone know how to schedule WCing effectively so i can reach it fast without to much trouble each day? or some kind of schedule like "I need X amount of WC exp this week", im trying to level 1 level each day which i failed at today since i was working on my new pure (wildy is back after all ). Oh well, im going to bed now and im pretty tired, ill check this thread out when i wake up or get back from school  . EDIT: i play RS around 7 hours each day except for weekends which is much more i guess, however i never get anything done during those hours!
Skeptical
Playing 7 hours a day is a lot, and seeing as you only need 12,283,847 XP, if you get 100k exp a day, you'll have it in under 130 days. Playing 7 hours a day, it shouldn't take you that long. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." joke33
Best advice is to move to teaks in either Ape Atoll or Tai Bwo Wannai- I got about 70k exp per hour there with dragon axe and 98 wc and fast clicking (this means dropping). Willows are about 45-55k per hour with rune axe and 98 wc in Rimmington, where it is less crowded (This is my experience with f2p woodcutting bth). So I think you'll get about 50k*7=350k exp per day and then you'l get the level in 12000k/350k=34 days. My Blog of pure... Uhmm... Well... Fools_Taco
I can tell you right now you dont have the patience for a wc cape. Go for cooking or fletching, its more to your playstyle.
Bassy
I figured that if I got 100k experience or around that a day, I was making pretty good progress. Either way you shouldn't be playing that much per day. It's just not healthy! Summer's on the way, go outside and play! I got 99 in free2play, and it took about 4 months from level 80 on willows. A Dragon Hatchet really makes no difference as it's made for yews and magics. You'd be fine enough with Rune. I can safely say that if you had a Dragon Hatchet and did willows from 80 to 99, you could have gotten it a lot faster, maybe 2-3 weeks faster. Maybe... Bassy
Nah willows are pretty much 1 speed once you get a few dozen levels over their requirement. I still say that you shouldn't play 7 hours a day. If you're getting 99 because you just want the cape then you chose the wrong skill. You should train a skill you really like (and I mean it should be your favorite skill in the game) and consider the cape only a little bonus to training that skill so long. Once again I stress that you really shouldn't play 7 hours a day. :shame: Click Here for a Common Sense Dungeoneering Guide
