Cost for 88 summoning

Hey,,

Well i've worked out that it's about 37m worth of supplies to get me enough charms and xp for 99 mage + 88 summ.

Now, since i have been gone for so long, what i would like to know is what is best to do after creating the pochues. Should i exhchange them for shards? Sell them on G.E? What should i do which will save me cash.

Secondly i would like to know what the average cost would be for me to go from 77-88 summ. The costs i want to know are second costs and shard costs, after having deducted the money earned from the answer to my first question, I.E how much would it cost from 77-88 summ if i add up cost for seconds, shards and then take away the cost from exchangeing the pouches into shards (if that is the best method, i don't know that's why that is my first question  )

A rough estimate would be ok, i just want to know whether i'm going to be spenging 50m+ or 60m+ or even more.

Thankss.

The main advantage to using string jewellry is the fact that you only have to click one time to do 27 casts and gain over 2k xp. With plank make you will need to click twice for EVERY casts, and you will need to click on EVERY one of the 26 spaces to complete an inventory. If that does not bother you, then kindly disregard this post.

I tried checkign the price myself and i come to 3.4gp/xp for plank make and ive been told it's 4gp/xp for string jewellery. I really don't think either of them are worth it now so i'll update post just to include costs of 99 summ then, thanks.

80-88 is around roughly 450k shards. For the seconds it really depends on what you are making, grab a calculator and find what pouches you are making then multiply pouch number x second price to find the price of it.

never actually buy shards, by the way. You should dump off whatever junk you have to some seller on RSOF, and then buy the pouch with the best gp/shard return that you can trade in. make sure that you can trade in the pouches befor ebuying thousands of them though, I got stuck like tha once :wall:

+1, but you probably know that already.

I'm in a similar situation as you, and would like to know this myself. Here's what I can offer though, the actual leveling portion shouldn't take longer than about 15 hours or so, if I'm correct.

More like four hours.

Depends on what you make.

Generally unless you are Zarfot in disguise with mouse keys, you can do about 1.5k-1.7k pouches per hour max. (HOLY [cabbage] ZARFOT DOES OVER 2.2K PER HOUR.)

The four hour estimate was based on Zarfot's rate

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

That's a pretty low estimate, for one secondary pouches I can get around 1600 pouches per kyatt, and I don't pay that much attention to this game. I think kyatts last for like 45 minutes...so that would be like 2100 pouches per hour. Probably like 2400 per hour top speed.

Oh, i've never heard of this trick before, so at my current 77 summoning level, what pouch should i buy and trade in?

Ttaol cost to 99 mage + 88 summoning is 60mish i'm guessing, Cool.

I made a spreadsheet to work out the best but the issue is the GE price changing all the time. You have to manually enter the GE pouch price each time:

http://www.geocities.com/foxy_stoat/shards.zip

If you want to have a play. All the shard per pouch detail is there at least.

I also stupidly saved it after I'd sorted it to best value pouch and didn't put a "trading level required" column in. Therefore they are all jumbled up :( Make sure you don't buy pouches you can't trade. The margin for error gets less as you rise levels but at early levels it is easy to assume that as you can make pouches you can trade them too. This isn't the case!

You can use:

http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_pouches

For reasonably up to date GE prices all in one place but I found the figures to be a little off.

This was the cost of 99 before I quit, so I'd assume most prices are still similar. Since you want 88, it should cost you around half or so of 99.

172M for mage?? Um how much would 82-99 mage cost if you burst lobs?

Well if 1 burst is 1k (if I remember right), then 172m is 172k bursts. How much xp do you get per burst? Once you know that, it's simple math. Although I except you to get bar beyond 99 magic from 172k bursts.
