I just sold my bgs becuase i got bored of it so now i need a new weapon. I was wonder what weapon should i use i am considering getting and ss right now but im not sure because i want a weapon that gives fast strength exp.

i know whip and rune def are good but i want str exp so im leaning towards ss right now because i don't like the d scim str bonus plus ss has cool spec.

Ss spec is weak... But since your training str ss is the way to go if you got money. IF not, D scimi.

I got over 20m so I'm fine on money.

Spec IS weak. Bring a DDS.

Spec isn't really that bad. If you need extra defense, go with the excalibur or excalibur enchanted. If you want damage, either use DDS (not poisoned, will get you a bit less xp) or just the sara spec. For strength, Dbax with restore pot.

if you use any sc items to help you train use the armor...you will hit alot harder with a ss than a sc skimmy

is it really worth it to spend time in sc to get armour?

Generally, stealing creation isn't worth it, since you can get more xp in the time it takes to get the points, than the speed it cuts off. I don't know all the maths, but I think its like this in most situations.

Idk i don't have to much patients for boring minigames. I think i'll just leave it.

I have an SS, whip, rune defender and dragon scimitar. I am going to tell you right now that the SS literaly kicks dcim [wagon] 6 way from sunday. The SS has identical speed to the whip, as well as identical atta and str bonus. Without the defender you lsoe a bit of defense and a few str points. You might have your max hit lowered by 1, but thats still sprobably better than a dcim + defender.

 

 

 

Out hitting a God sword 3:2 (in terms of speed) the SS deals more damage over extendded period of time than any other 2h sword, and probably more than any spear as well (I have not used all spears so I cant say for certain).

 

 

 

Just go find something that does not have alot of accuracy (think along the lines of ankou, or even experiments) and let loose. Also, the spec is awsome. Its a normal hit plus up to 14 magic damage that gives magic xp. The SS is (or shoudl be) the undisputed king of strength xp in player versus monster situations.

OK now I'm 100% sure I'm going to get a ss to bad i can't get one on ge for max freaking price!!!!!
