A Collection of my GFX

Featured Replies

I normally don't share my works with people I don't know too well, but I feel like venturing in my Design folder and going through my works over the years. Even though I probably won't be making any more graphics other than shirt designs for a while, comments & criticism aren't necessary but still appreciated. Most of my works aren't signatures, and I know the Gallery is full of sig designers, so please bear with me :P

When I tried making nice sites.. the style/colours here was pretty much ripped from another designer, so I don't give myself too much credit for this one

I would post more recent shirt designs, but they're all CYMK files which aren't supported by imageshack or tinypic, and I really don't want to convert all the files.

You spelled "addicted" wrong.

About the Gallery here, we aint all just a bunch of sigmakers. Well, yeah, most of us are, but we've got like at least 1 for every style.

I would like to see newer designs, cause those you showed don't show us your real skill. But that photomanip, Falling Up is just wonderful.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

Your web design is great. Simplistic works well there.

Your vectors are nice also. I would love to see some of your tee designs.

lampost_sig_stark.png

You're cool.

I like you.

Post more.

I second this motion.

Haha, those vectors are amazing (if they aren't a simple tracing job) and that falling upside down one looks pretty sweet. You have a great eye for webdesigns too.

None of your images show up - all I see is "image".

I can now see the images so;

-Websites: In my opinion, your websites use fonts which are too "heavy" - a mass of heavy fonts on a website really bring down the appearance - it's important to find the right balance between heavy and light weights of font. Take a look here at some of the deviations that employ a balance between the two weights.

-Clones: Great technique which you've domestically - I've only ever seen it used in skating magazines :) The urinal one made me laugh :P

-Misc: The only thing I really like is the dangerously addicted vector, great concept :D

Great work, I hope to see you in the gallery more often :)

Wow, the website designs are awesome. I really love the layour of them all. And the colours you've picked go well together

For us [by us I mean Adrenal] non art/computer/graphic design literate people, what does vectors mean ?

Orrrr, we can simplify it to tracing over images via the pen tool on photoshop :P Well that is the case for some.

^^ Yes, both the turntable and the kick-push vectors were simply traced based on an img (one found on the internet, one I took myself). Very few artists actually create their own vector work when it comes to household objects, or else it would just be less realistic and would take twice as long.

Thanks for all the nice comments, in particular for the Falling Up concept. At first the plan for that piece was to take a picture of my friend "falling up" in the summer, and another in exactly that same spot in the winter, just sitting. The problem occurred when I tried linking both images, the winter on top summer on bottom, it simply didn't flow. I had done so much editing to the winter picture before trying to match them, it was heartbreaking

For those wanting more: that's pretty much it. My skills are very much reflected by all these pieces, and I only churn out designs once every 2 months so I can't keep updating the first post  . Many of my shirt designs are just edited versions of other shirt designs over the internet, which I then print of special paper and iron onto a blank t-shirt, so obviously I'm not going to upload or post those.
