May 31, 200917 yr In your opinion, is a Cannon worth it for Slayer Tasks? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a Cannon to speed up my tasks, but I'm having doubts that it will cost too much. :? My stats are in my sig and I have a moderate amount of cash in my bank. I'm not a super serious slayer, but it is my favorite skill. I'm kinda leaning towards getting the Cannon because of the speed benefits as well as the Range experience. 2 questions though: 1) Does the Slayer Profit cover the cannon costs? 2) Which tasks are the cannon best used on? May 31, 200917 yr Cannoning abberant spectres is a good choice. If you get lucky with the drops, you'll be able to pay back for the cannonballs and finish the task really quickly too.

May 31, 200917 yr All serious slayers should buy a cannon, use a cannon vs the following monsters: abby spectres bloodveld suqah black demons kalphite dagannoth You can use it vs dark beasts and wyvern too which will help speed up slow tasks. I may have forgotten a few monsters to cannon so dont flame me :P
May 31, 200917 yr Very well worth it. I use a cannon at abby specs in the polliv dungeon, and all I do is wear full prayer gear and bring 1 ppot while cannon does my task for me :thumbsup: 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
May 31, 200917 yr It's more efficient if you make over 400k an hour or so. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
