Hugger_88
I'm a VERY big paintballer. I go almost 50 times a summer. I find it to be one of the funnest things possible to do in the little hicktown I live in. Ive been paintballing for almost 3 years, and I absoloutly love it. Im running a 2004 Autococker Prostock atm (POS) but Im gonna be investing in a 2010 Proto SLG as soon as I can. Im on a local AM team and we play weekend tournaments alot and split the money. As a matter of fact, we won a 1 Grand comp a couple weeks back, 4-person speedball. It was a blast! My worst shot, was a guy cranked his gun all the way up when we were playing Iron Man and shot me 6 times from maybe 5-feet away shooting maybe 540 FPS. I cried like a baby back [bleep]. - 60,023rd to 99 Firemaking on April 29th, 2012 -- 15,152nd to 99 agility on August 21st, 2011 -- 30,569th to 99 Prayer on June 26th, 2011 -- 22,646th to 99 Hunter on Jan 9th, 2011 -1993 Miata; sold - 2001 E46 330i; "totaled" - 2001 E46 325iT; Bags and wheels ;)

If your on a good budget, a Bob Long Mtak would do the trick. Allthough I reccomend getting a speedball gun. Seriously, they're better then woodsball guns in nearly every aspect. Thats why im looking at the SP1, which would be easy for me to get because they have one for sale in the shop where I play, and because of the awesomeness of the staff there I can haggle for one, maybe get it 140-150? The fact that I need a speedball gun is also why im looking at the SP1. I can do that finger [cabbage] to save my life. And from what I hear the SP1 has a decent full auto (even though it only caps out at 11bps) I mean, iv tackled Egos and stuff with my 98 custom w/ a flatline and a response trigger but i just need more firepower. Guest
Most fields you can't use full automatic anyways. It's a good gun though, and probally the best for it's price. Remember though it uses HPA, not c02.
I_am_Geed
If I cant use full auto I guess i can cheap it out with 3 shot burst lol. I can get maybe 6 or 7 BPS with semi so im decent. And yeah, I have a 48/3000 tank. HPA = compressed Air right? I herd it craps out with C02
Guest
Yes, HPA is air. And yes, c02 [bleeps] out high end guns.

doomy
The last time I went was at my mates birthday, and while we were there the owners screwed up and they had booked a stag party at the same time.. So we ended up playing with about 15 20 year olds + us 6 and it was pretty epic. They don't play by the rules though so took some nasty close range shots :P Doomy edit: I like sheep
Furah
Was looking to see what you need to own a paintball gun in NSW. You need: Firearm Licence/Permit Permit to Acquire (takes 28 days to get approved if you haven't had one before, you need to get one of these for each gun you want to buy) Storage of it has to comply with this All firearms transactions, both purchase and disposal, must be witnessed by a licensed NSW Firearms Dealer All of that has to be approved before you can buy a paintball gun! I [bleep]ing hate our government, reading this post requires all non-Aussies to never say their non-dictatorship government is worse. kingbrooks
Well I live less than a mile from a paintball site and have an annual pass, I try and go once every 2 weeks (It's no fun without friends, and organising things prevents me doing it more often ;) ) Problem is that the masks aren't huge, they cover eyes, nose and mouth with your cheeks and neck exposed. Bloodstain
Problem is that the masks aren't huge, they cover eyes, nose and mouth with your cheeks and neck exposed. One thing leads to another. I went with some friends and family ~2 weeks ago. First game it's me, my sister, my cousin vs my brother, friend, and cousin B. We're set next to each other sort of, and suddenly my sister dropped and grabbed her leg, I just looked at her and laughed how she fell when she got hit (it was her first time, hurt her i guess). So I go to look back to where I thought the other team was, and bam. I drop to the ground. My friend flanked us on my sister's side and shot my in the throat. Was pretty funny. Couple games later I shot my brother in the neck. Then last game my cousin shot my friend about 6 times because he didn't think he hit him, then as my friend fell I saw his arm and shot it. He got Platooned. He had marks for weeks
ember3579
Last time I went paintballing, the only real pain I felt from getting hit was when some jackass intentionally hit me in the beanbag when I tried speedball. I can say with complete honesty that I was about to put the barrel of my gun up to his eyes and start lighting him up like a Christmas tree after I was able to walk again. Paintball is fun, but I'd recommend not going into Speedball unless if you're fully prepared for most of your opponents to be cheating, sadistic bastards. Anyway, I currently have this little $20 pump POS, but I plan on upgrading it soon. To me, it just feels more natural for me to use a pump gun. It might be how you hold it, but still. I'd recommend getting a pump to anybody who wants to train their accuracy and speed. With the way that pumps work, you HAVE to learn those two in order to survive. The fact that you're probably going to have the lowest ammo used/game ratio will help if your wallet's somewhat thin, too. Distracted
I went paintballing a while back, great fun, especially if you hit a guy straight on the helmet (which I did in the last game, where everyone got like 5 balls and nothing more.) But damn it, it did hurt, at one point our team was trapped in a shack kinda thing and they all started shooting at us execution style from up close. walka92
i went painballing for a friends birthday. 5 people nailed the birthday boy at once with a coordinated barrage of paint. it was funny when he found out that i organised that combo, he kicked me in the nuts. totally worth it. I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
