As of now, I am f2p with 79 firemaking. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get the flame gloves and the ring of fire when I become a member, or if I should just get 92 firemaking in f2p, and then light all the beacons in members for the adze. Will I ultimately lose exp by going for the gloves/ring?

If you're going to become a member anyway, get them.

in theory it will only take about 20 minutes to get the 5% extra exp, if you feel its worth it, go for it.

I think its very worth it cause it saved me some logs made 99 firemaking faster and only takes a tiny bit to get :D

Not to mention the fact that lighting the beacons still gets you some good exp

Since you'll be getting several million xp, definitely worth it.

Let us not forget that flame gloves look incredible for skilling. Fill/fix all the beacons first, then light them. It should take under 45mins to do the whole thing.

Level 92 is 6,517,253 XP, so you would be passing up a bonus on

 

6,517,253 - 1,798,808 = 4,718,445 XP.

 

 

 

Personally, I'd take any bonus I could get.

the gloves and ring are worth it but not by much. assuming your using maple logs, it only knocks off about 3 or 4k logs from the total amount of logs needed for 99. but then again thats 3 or 4 hours u save and about 108k to 144k cash. so ya its worth it and it only takes about 30mins to get.

 

the inferno adnze is ok if ur power cuting willows but not much else besides maybe farming rounds since training on yews and mages u usually do for the cash reward and it would be dum to burn cash like that.
