Today a girl was giving her speech on how she's not gonna care about most of the people she knows now later, I told her I've given the same awesome speech and I refuse to be "aww high school is done I love you all I'm gonna miss you let's hang out all the time" because it's BULL.

Took me a second to get, but highly appropriate. I laughed.

They are replaceable.

I'm aware that people are replaceable, but I know a lot of 17-18 year olds who can't get that through their tough heads. I dunno, some of them should already see that the last couple years I've spent less and less time with them as they've been spending more and more time together. I'm not saying I'm more grown up than them. I just worry for them. Not about them, because that'd require me to care a lot, but for them.
