Does Psycho even tell the server to check for whether connectors have bought the game?

 

I know you can shut that off.

My understanding is that you can only connect to LAN servers with offline mode.

I'm totally open to running offline mode, I just don't really understand what it does.

 

Edit: Is it that offline mode allows people with pirated copies on the server? I'd be cool with that as well.

Silva, I'm 90% sure that's an account theft site. I bet when people click the referral link, they're asked to log in, and when they do, their login data is sent to someone else. I notice in the source that it says the data is originating from http://givemepins.net/minecraft/, which of course looks like a huge scam site.
