and 321, I got like... $300. A third of which came from winning it at our "after grad" party thing.

The money I got was from at my open house and from cards people sent me upon receiving announcements.

 

And I'm going to a state school here in MN, Winona State University, apparently people outside MN occasionally hear about it but I don't think it is that special.

My mom asked if I had looked at the card from my grandpa (her father). She said he'd aske if the money he was giving me was a good amount. Conversation:

 

Me: how much did he say he'd give me?

Mom: $300

Me: that's funny, I found the amount of $160 to be pretty random

 

Not that I don't appreciate it, but my mom figures my grandpa deducted dinner and party stuff he paid for from the initial amount. She said "he couldn't really be that cheap could he?" It was silly.
