At least where my mom works, techs do a ton of stuff; almost everything besides final checks and consultations. Pharmacists don't use any of the chemistry they have to learn in college.

They don't. They get everything delivered and they just measure it. The only thing they probably use is from Grade 11 Chem which is weights/proportions and all that.
