When I had my ex, one of the things I bitterly regretted was that I felt tied to him and I realised that I didnt want to be the type of girl that cheats..

 

And I didn't like how I kept thinking of other guys.

 

however, now I don't think of other guys expect the one I like now.

 

Which gives me hope for the future.

 

it's hard to explain.

 

I don't feel the need for another guy as long as I have an emotional connection and love for him is what I want to say.

Sorry, I may have missed a lot - but you have no business telling a girl with a boyfriend that you like her. My two cents.

Exactly why I'm waiting. But I just want to get it off my chest so to speak, so if they're still together by winter break, I'll just tell her.

While it's good that you're waiting, you have to look at the benefits of telling her..

 

In all likelyhood she'll reject you and your friendship with both her and the boyfriend will be ruined, causing unnecessary drama.

If by any chance she happens to dump her boyfriend for you, you've still created unnecessary drama, and, personally, I wouldn't have any interest with being with a woman who would leave her boyfriend at the drop of a hat like that. But maybe that's just me.

 

So that's why I think you not only have no place to bring it up, but it's not a good idea regardless of the outcome. But hey, your life - whatever floats your boat.

when I was in high school a lot of times I liked people who were unavailable or liked someone else... then when they became available and liked me.. I had completely forgotten about them and either liked someone else or was interested in something different.
