i have no idea. I assume natural logs and [cabbage]. Isn't there some formula where you can turn ln (e^a + e^b) into a more manageable form? Look for that [cabbage] in your text book. But first, watch this:

Wow.. didn't see it at first, but it's a factoring problem.

 

It's basically

 

e^x - 20/e^x - 1

 

So just multiply by e^x

 

Which ends up being

 

(e^x)² - e^x - 20 = 0

 

Go from there.

Some people in my building turned on their radiators when we got the email that the steam was turned on, and now many of those people cannot get their radiators to turn off. I have no clue why anyone would need their radiators on. I put more clothes on when I get cold, and if I'm still cold, I close my window. I don't know why anyone would use heat when we had days in late August where we couldn't get our rooms to cool off. I was strategic about that too, shutting the window and curtains all day and reopening once it cooled off with the fan blowing the cool air in. Got my room cooler than the hall a few times, and shut my door so I didn't have to share my cool air. Everyone with their radiator still on now will be so angry this week since it's supposed to hit 80.
