[spoiler=Speaking of dreams...]I dreamed I was wandering around an avenue close to my building, when I ran into some really clichéd bank robbers getting away with lods of emone in bads. For some reason, I decided to follow them. They went to rob yet another bank, right away, and they took me hostage, and killed all the other people in the bank. Then, they went to another bank, where they took more hostages, but they didn't kill them all this time, at least not until some of the bank employees started trying to get away. I remember them slitting one hostage's throat right infront of my face, and feeling all the blood spraying on me. And then, they grabbed some kind of saw and started cutting my leg at the knee, just when some swat looking guys busted in. So they stopped cuttingi my leg and go shoot at the swat guys, and I take that chance to run away with some cash (my leg was fine). Then I travelled into another dream but I can't remember that one. Most Emilys spell it "Emily". I've met one Emilie. I love having an easily spell-able name, I'd get so sick of people misspelling it. I'm called Christian in a Spanish-speaking country. That means that 90% of the people will write it as "Cristian" which is the Spanish alternative of the name. Also, cool article in The Week about sleep paralysis and the nocebo effect. Apparently, there were 117 cases of men scattered throughout the U.S. having immigrated from some region of Laos dieing in their sleep with no medical cause. It was linked to somehow fatal sleep paralysis being experienced by those individuals and most other immigrants from that region. Apparently, they have strong superstition in that province about evil spirits who cause sleep paralysis, they're repelled by the spirits of your ancestors, but if you break tradition then your ancestors will stop protecting you. These men were no longer living in communal, traditional societies because the American gov't decided to evenly scatter them to avoid the whole race-specific slums thing or something, and they believed that this meant they were disrespecting their ancestors by not being able to follow tradition. Even longer story short, they all died because they believed very strongly that something bad would happen to them (something that is possible and relating to the subconscious actions of your own brain), and that it would kill them.
