silver_wits
the thing is.. i do try to be a generous, kind, loving person. i try. however if someone is abusing it.. i won't be anymore.. at least not to them! i got angry at him when at his birthday party.. which was totally conjoined with his both his sisters because his parents were cheap and decided to only host one birthday party for all three of them... he was [bleep]ing about only recieving $20 from one of his mom's friends.. and saying how that person was cheap. and as i stared into his eyes.. i saw how selfish and greedy he was.
Psycho_Robot
I'm kinda lucky in that I dont think money will ever be much of a concern for me. I don't have expensive tastes. I just don't buy things... For example, I've had the money to buy pretty much anything i want for nearly a year now, and I haven't even spent it. I've bought a few things here and there, like Portal 2 and a new flash drive, but I'm not buying assloads of video games, I haven't bought a fancy tv, indeed i haven't really bought anything at all. So I figure given how I simply don't spend much money, I'll be able to live comfortably and happily on less money
blaah
And then the picture of HER (I forgotted) fortune from New Year's Day, three days before Cyndi and Jerad started dating... "A good friendship is often more important than a passionate romance." when I took her out to dinner. because my family was still gone at my dad's house, and we were being independent 17 year olds. That one was her fortune. /FG/First thread post to when I joined the family.[hide=Insert rant here]blahblahblahLIFE[/hide]
Napalm
if he didnt demand me pay him $100 as a birthday present, as well as give his sister'[s birthday presents each [same month] and then later on demand that i take him out to dinner for a birthday present which came up to like $60-80 and get mad when i insisted on giving the waitress a tip.. she was his friend's mom and he didn't want to tip her. wow. and added to that i was paying for food for both of us everyday!!! as well as movies sometimes.. never again. Wow. What a douche.

I was 100% sure the relationship wasn't for me.. and i'll probably never date anyone of his race, culture, or style again.

blaah
It was her fortune, I screwed up. Mine was the next picture, something about moving to a wonderful new place in the next year... aka a college dorm. Yeah, sometimes I truly believe fortunes and dreams and whatnot, I've had some to give me reason to do so. /FG/First thread post to when I joined the family.[hide=Insert rant here]blahblahblahLIFE[/hide]

Psycho_Robot
Silva I don't think any of us got offended. hearing you complain about your ex is more interesting than mindless spam. And its good for you to vent. We're here to listen. Also, I don't find it awkward to ask my roommate to pay for something if i have a good reason, like I paid last time or somethign like that. Psycho_Robot
Yeah neither one of us care very much. For example, he paid the rent in full two months in a row, so that means I'm like 600 bucks in his debt. I tried to pay him back for that, but he didn't seem interested. So instead, I'm going to pay the rent in full for the next 2 months and we'll be square again.
blaah
Money wasn't an issue because Cyndi was the only one with money, lol. And then jerkoff was like "she freeloadin', dump that [garden tool]" and the same day she bought me something. Now it's just random who buys things, I always BRING money when I go places with her, but last weekend she paid everything no question and before that I offered and paid most of whatever crap we bought /FG/First thread post to when I joined the family.[hide=Insert rant here]blahblahblahLIFE[/hide]

blaah
I have more money than her, lol. Just no steady income. I don't spend though, I still have like $900 from graduation money (which was $1655) and then a bit from grandparents for birthday. Let's see... Let's get awkward and personal. I have. Okay, it says I have $758.67, but mom owes me $280, so let's say... $1038.67 I'd say Cyndi has never had that much money all at once. She's a spender. /FG/First thread post to when I joined the family.[hide=Insert rant here]blahblahblahLIFE[/hide]

Psycho_Robot
When I was in the school dorms, a couple of my roommates were well off. Ryan had a good job for a long time and had lots of money in the bank. Jeremy was working part time in a fancy restaurant where he got a good base salary and big rich guy tips. I also had two roomates who weren't well off. Mike, the guy I lent money to, had no job and limited monies coming in from his parents. Nate had no money either. Ryan and Jeremey would go out drinking a lot. Nate would invite himself and not pay for anything. They resented him for it. But Mike never invited himself, so they invited him along allllll the time. IN fact, mike would say no.. and that he couldn't afford it, and Ryan would kidnap him and make him come for free drinks. That shows the power of not asking for handouts...
