So last year a family's house burned down. The daughter went to my high school, so the high school had a one minute fundraiser for her family. We raised $3600.

 

A few days ago, word came that a senior this year has an inoperable tumor after having cancer for the past two years. With the tumor, he has two to three months to live. His wish is to go to Universal Studios. Today, in one minute, the school raised $10,000.

 

And they say our school is the ghetto school of town.

One minute fundraiser?

They told everyone it was going to be today earlier this week, then today had student council kids and whatever run around frantically for a minute collecting monies.
