My friend has that laptop, Goon. It's really good. Nice deal on it too.

I'm wondering if I should even bother with college since you get debt and still don't have a good chance of even being employed.

You know it still helps you tremendously though, right

your job options with a high school diploma are rather limited

I love/hate the end of semesters. Excited to go home and do whatever for a couple weeks, but there's always so much to do. I still have a 30 min. oral presentation, a half-finished term paper, and 4 finals to take within the next week and a half.

I'm going to milk Goon's teats

I have a nice anatomy exam coming up. 200 bones (and parts on the bones such as tubercles and fossas), 100+ muscles, nerves, anatomical positions, etc. It's not a written exam, but pretty much we get called up next to unmarked diagrams and have to point out the specific parts.

Last day of finals is Dec. 9th.

That's... really early.

Good point, champion. May ask my older sister for tips since my school counselors barely helped me when I asked a thousand times for advice. The economy sucks now and the debt can be a pain, but it would pay off in the long run.

>that feel when my GPA is 3.93 so far and I'm in Link Crew and National Honors Society and 3 AP classes that I'm likely to pass the AP tests on and my PSAT scores were in the 92nd percentile

Good work, although you probably need them more than in Canada. In Canada requirements are typically lower since there's less people (therefore less demand). Not to mention post secondary is a bit cheaper ($6k a year instead of like $25k in the USA?).

I think I'm sick. Been coughing and sneezing all day and haven't been able to breathe through my nose for days. kaljshflajkshflakjshdflaksjf

Colds suck, yes.

I've had a rather nasty one the past few weeks or so. Might be more of a flu though.

Yes, yes, yes, yes. DO WANT.

I never really found Miyazaki's stuff so great. He's very over-rated, and always tries to shove feminism and "HURRR NATURE GOOD TECHNOLOGY BAD" in his movies.

Also the guy is a dick.

@arm: Yeah, it's a pretty nice break. I'm taking the train home on the 10th, and taking it back Jan 2nd.

I assume you start like the 4th or something?

I start back the 11th.
