[hide]Speech tournament got canceled due to impending blizzard. *sigh* I'm pretty bummed about it. The tournament we host is always the best/second best tournament of the year. It's a lot of work, but it pays off 'cuz you get to be a speech kid for a day without having to give a speech. So the fact that it was canceled just kinda sucks. More than anything else this year, all senior year long, this feels like the end of something that I loved dearly. Even AcaDec didn't have this sense of desolate closure. The year's not even over, but it just feels like it's done. 2 more tournaments is all, then the rest of the year, and I'm done. I'm just kinda depressed now.

 

Also, went in and talk to my teacher today. She wouldn't let me change books. Told me to suck it up and read it right. I'm going to go get an audiobook tonight, and I hope that helps. :/

 

Overall, today just kinda sucked. Ergh. If we don't get at least 1 snow day out of this, I'm going to be pissed. That's the only way the universe can make up for this now.[/hide]
