I hope our driver has bought/is using a new/different car. It was uncomfortable when it was just me in the back. Add two more and it'd be a terrible hour long drive.

I wish Kearney had an indie station. It would really round out our stations, in all honesty - for pop/rock, we have an 80s, 90s, 2000s, and top six on the charts station, plus quite a few country stations and an alternative rock station. Too bad there's not enough of an audience here. Gosh dangit, we need more hipsters.

Hey, I'm just saying I like the sound of Indie music. I'm not a hipster. I also like a lot of mainstream stuff, and I don't usually shirk away from things just because they're popular. I like Justin Beiber, for god's sake. No self respecting hipster can have Beiber fever.

 

On the same note, however, I would really like to be a hipster. It's a doctrine I really would have resonated with about 4 years ago. I still do, but not so much anymore. I recognize that just because something is popular doesn't make it bad - in fact, at least some of the time, it means it's good. People follow things that are good, so things that are popular are more often good than things that aren't popular. But it's a cool thing to follow something before it's popular, to watch something rise from the underground.
