manitstinks
Im getting tired of killing bloodvelds at the slayer tower so I noticed some people were killing them near the death altar or some swampy place. I have to do 2 quests to get there so is it even worth it? I saw some people on the "Rate This" section of tif get some d meds so I thought it might be good. Danqazmlp
They hare much beter in the blood altar dungeon. theres two types, regular an mutated. Both cannonable, mutated have massive hp and very little defence, so are perfect for slaying (although you need p pots). Their drops arent much better than regular velds, they are always empty though so are good exp. It is definately worth it imo, even if it is just for the fact it is always empty. manitstinks
Are pray pots covered by drops?
Danqazmlp
Unfortunately no i don't think so, unless you get a d med drop or two, which seem to be about 1/100 ish. But it still worth it for the regular bloodvelds which don't need to be prayed on, which are always empty. Want to be my friend? pulli23
It is possible to "safe-spot-cannon" mutated bloodveld though, so you could prevent the pot-use there. (However I strongly doubt you will cover the cost for cannonballs either). First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. zotto
I sometimes do them in GWD, but I don't think it is more efficient, except that it isn't crowded, so you don't lose time with people 'stealing' 'your' spot.

You get half slayer xp that way. Velds in the blood dungeon are definately wtfawesome and worth it. I just kill the normal ones 1-2 at a time with a geyser in karils and sgs usually covers the little damage that they do. I personally don't use cannons, but if you're worried about spending money then you probably shouldnt either. Might want to take a mud staff and nats for b2p if you notice a lot of damage(also for alchs since they drop a helluvalot of fires). I noticed I had a veld task one time while I was waitin for someone to get kc and I started killing bloodvelds thatw ere fighting other things. I saw them spawn, attack a hobgoblin, and die(from me) and I was only getting like 70ish xp or something like that. Jaffy1
I personally go to Godwars to kill Bloodvelds (for slayer). You can range them across obstacles near the middle (entrance). As long as you wear a Zamorak item, they will not be aggressive, and as you can shoot over rocks, you cannot be hit by them. Note: this works best if you're in a world where it's not crowded at Godwars, although most people that go there kill other creatures. Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs. Thank god we are addicted to something that won't kill us. [/hide]
