June 10, 200917 yr My stats are 70 attack, 70 strength, 62 defence, 52 range, 46 prayer and 40 slayer. I want to do get a fire cape once i get 70 defence and 70 range but i need to ask a few questions *Is 55 slayer for Broad Bolts necessary for the waves? *Using bronze knives, what would be a good way to train range while gaining some profit along the way? I was thinking of moss giants until 65 range and then fire giants *I trained to 70 attack/strength at flesh crawlers, and they were 100k money and 27kexp per hour. Is there a better place or should i use slayer (which btw is really bad exp and money, at my level at least) *Once i get 70 defence, should i train controlled on whip? *I'm training farming which is only 9 at the moment. Would using guam seeds, cabbage seeds and marigold seeds in the port sarim and catherby allotments be a good way to train it atm? (using normal compost, without paying the farmer) I don't really know much about farming so tips would be great *How useful is Guthans at the fight caves? Because its really expensive for me and i will have to make it degrade fully before i can sell it again after i use it *I think i can pray switch well enough, but i'm worried about the beginning when you can't see Jad. Is there anything i can do? Like listen out for the retribution sound or something *When the healers come, should i kill them one at a time with long range+steel skin, and then shoot Jad to death once he's alone? Because i don't think 70 range is enough to kill Jad while he's being healed. *from 36 smithing, would cannonballs be a good way to get 55 smithing? Sorry for having so much questions! thanks
June 10, 200917 yr As far as broad bolts goes, they hit harder than knives/arrows generally. So, kill faster. Using knives until u can use broad bolts (60gp ea), should maximize ur exp. Idk bout ur profit tho. Slayer's profit is in the clue scrolls (in my opinion) until u can kill sara mages for d boots :) I wouldn't train controlled on whip unless you're no where close to 18m for a bando godsword (or ss if u have 7-8m) I would suggest u train att/str (dependin on which gs u'll ultimately want sgs or ags). Far as farming goes, buy watermelons to make supercompost (u can do this at lvl 1). You can use 4 buckets and sell 11 for (15x100=1500cost 11x500-600=5500-6600selling for 4k-5.1k profit per bin). Guams sell well (better than mar/tar) but any herb is good profit at ur lvl (seeds only 15-100ea). Plant marigolds or limps when u can for profit also. Dont use compost. Super will lessen chance for disease and boost harvests. I'll leave the cave fight advice for the pros. For smithing, check out the blast furnace guide. Smithing cannonballs is very slow. (varrock achievement armor will help speed smelting/smithing things a bit and gives u access to furnace by edge bank. closest in game) As a rule, smelting makes money and smithing wastes it (reverse this for experience). You can also do 'stealing creation' minigame for clay hammer (2x exp smithing) if u choose to smith. Hope this helps a bit

Sorry for having so much questions! thanks I've only been playing for six months so take my answers with a grain of salt. And some things I just can't answer because I don't know enough. But... * I don't know about the broad bolts and fire cape. * Moss Giants then Fire Giants will work, with reasonable profit. Also Hill Giants for when you are bored, with slower XP and less useful drops (except limpwurt roots, they're okay). You can also Range Flesh Crawlers when you get bored - slower XP but reasonable money and/or plenty of herbs for Herblore, as you evidently already know. If you range them there's a safe spot at the south west corner of the room. For ranged training Yaks is probably the quickest XP, but no money. You can also try Ankou - pretty good drops and XP for ranged or melee. With Slayer at lower lvls you get patches of good and bad. Stick with it and better assignments come along, plus (obviously) you're always training more than one skill. * Controlled on whip for what purpose? * Yes, at 9 Farming use the best you can get. Pay for the gardeners to watch your crops; use super compost on the things they don't watch. Why? Because picking gives XP too, and at lvl 9-20 the XP from picking the best produce will amount to jumping three or four lvls. Without gardeners and supercompost you'll miss out on some of that XP when your crops die. Use hops and bushes too. Catherby and Port Sarim are good central farming locations, but try to use as many as possible. Try to work out a pattern where you can go to three or four locations in a row picking and planting all the way, then come back in an hour or two to do the same again. Don't forget that the Port Phasmatys allotment is very close to the Ectophial teleport at the Ectofuntus. Using those three you can pick three guam patches, six cabbage and three marigold in a round at the moment, plus hops (and bushes at lvl10), and then you can start planting oaks at lvl 15. Once you start on fruit trees at 27 it gets very much simpler. * I can't help with fight caves. * I mostly just smith the highest item I can, in bulk, a couple of times a week. Best drop so far: Dragon Chainbody from a Dust Devil.
June 10, 200917 yr Ranging chaos druids "up close" will most likely yeild a profit while getting minimal damage from them. training with whip on controlled will get you more kills per hour than having to switch for scimmy, long, dds or SS for that str level. So I suggest controlled. Always farm the best you can and once you can do oaks, apple, bananas and oranges, do them as the seeds are cheap and they provide great XP for low lvls. Making cannonballs is slow but garantees a profit, your choice. FIght cave is not my specialty sorry. June 10, 200917 yr The above post covered most of what I'd of said. About the sound, if you can't see Jad pray protection from RANGE until you year the sound of the retribution prayer (the red one that damages surrounding people when someone dies), then switch to protection from MAGE, wait until you get hit, then switch back to protection to RANGE. quit
