I assisted for 66 Runecrafting on Falador, so there's at least one thing you can assist for. (if you still can) I know for a fact that you can't now, and unless you did it when the diary came out, it is highly unlikely that you assisted to do it. I completed it by using the spicy stews... OT: As a fact, you can't assist for quest requirements or diaries. It's been proven many times despite many people debating it... If you really feel like it, try the assisting and see what happens.
