Kazel
If you want to spend the time now so that you have less work to do later, I would go ahead and get it. And I think what the other poster meant was find whichever fish loses the most money at the time (since the prices fluctuate) and cook that. So whichever has the lowest cost:XP ratio. cowmaster187
*sigh* i realize that prices fluctuate heavily but the difference would be obvious be it straight swordie or swordies/monks the difference would probably carry ~~~legoman187~~~ Clicky siggy for blogThanks Pendonub for fancy new sigThieving guide[WIP]Loyal player since May 2005 and member since November 2005 and Tifer for many years~~~legoman187~~~

ghjkl
If the question is should you get 92 cooking, then no. Cooking has become a useless skill, and unless you want it just for the level, its a waste of time and money. If you are getting it, I recommend monks all the way. Cheaper than sharks and lobs, and decent exp.

Jaffy1
What works pretty well is to fish and then cook swordfish, sell those at g/e (~450 Gp each) and buy raw lobsters (~302 Gp each) to cook. If you don't want to be fishing but merely want to buy fish, the cheapest would be trouts, but that takes ages. I would recommend either sweetcorn (105 xp and around 5 gp loss) or lobs/swordies.
