June 28, 200917 yr It's extremely flat, and the smudging is not prominent enough. Read up on a few more tutorials, Pat. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

June 29, 200917 yr Hey Pat, I'm fairly sure you use GIMP, right? This looks like a decent tutorial on the paths tool to me. Anyways, I think the signature has potential. Try sharpening some ares, maybe doing the GIMP equivelant of burning/dodging and other techniques to try and add some depth to it. Keep it up :thumbup: I did a tut on it. June 29, 200917 yr PS = raise the strength so you can drag more around. GIMP = Raise the rate so you can drag more around. :)
June 30, 200917 yr If you wanna learn how to smudge well, best start is to work with random shapes and abstract based work as that makes you focus on smudging as the focal and effect and not as a subeffect to better blend/meld the focal.
