____
I was under the impression that the differences between sign language in the UK, USA, NZ and Australia was so minimal it didn't matter :P
Triplets_KGB
I was under the impression that the differences between sign language in the UK, USA, NZ and Australia was so minimal it didn't matter :P lol, they all have their simlarities, but some normal signs in one country might be interpreted as RUDE in another country, vice versa. Like, the NZ sign for "coca cola" is American for "sex" see what i mean? one thing is the same in all of the signs, the facial expressions. Deaf people just LOVE facial expressions. come along to a deaf club and experience the culture :) When you're in a different country learning to sign, you often use your own sign, without realizing it, and its really confusing.
