TheStandIn
Is anyone else here a Samurai Jack fanatic ? One of the best shows ever in my opinion. Even at the age I watched it, so many references I didn't get. I loved that show.

Love Jack, never saw the end of it though :( Samurai Jack was amazing. This fall I will be watching CN for only ONE thing. Clone Wars. This season, the director of the whole project has said (I watched the star wars comic con coverage so this is legit people), that it will be more mature and targeted towards the adults. And there will be limb dismemberment and killings of Jedi. "Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang

Yeah, but, seriously, they should call it Sorta-Cartoon and Live Action Network.
Flyingjj
Well, I think the reason CN is trying live action stuff is that they are finally running out of dumb ideas. I disagree with the idea that all our old stuff was good and the new stuff is horrible, but also with the idea that that isn't true because we've "grown up" and are remembering the good ol' days. I think we're just remembering our favorite shows and putting down the stupid ones of today. We had our fair share of stupid ones too(Personally I'd say shows like Cow and Chicken and Courage had their fair share of stupid, with Ed, Edd, and Eddy on the edge). I really did enjoy Scooby Doo. I think Disney's Phineaus and Ferb is the Scooby of today. Looney Toons was good. Ben 10 today is pretty good. Each era has its own flops and its own faves. The ones we think are stupid now will not be remembered later, just like many of the ones we saw aren't remembered today. And to be clear, the live action scooby is a movie, not a series. The commercials for it have been somewhat unclear. I'm looking forward to it, just cause I'm a sucker for anything Scooby. And yes, I know this because I still watch excessive amounts of Disney, Nick, and Cartoon Network. Cut me a little slack, I have 4 siblings between the ages of 3 and 7 1/2. The Dark Lord
I don't really like the newer generation shows either. I'm freaking grown now and I would still watch Ed, Edd, and Eddy / Courage the Cowardly Dog if they were still on. The only thing I watch on CN is [Adult Swim], which has became [cabbage]. I only like the following shows: -Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law -Venture Brothers -Robot Chicken -Family Guy (Lately I've grown TIRED of their lame [wagon] jokes.) -Full-Metal Alchemist -Code Geass -King of the Hill (I only get it because I was a Texan. I'm not overjoyed when the show comes on, though.) It became [cabbage] whenever they stopped showing anime. I thought their general line-up was pretty decent back then. Now, it just sucks and they're looking for random [wagon] foreign shows that they hope people think are funny. (Mighty Boosh) Sure Mighty Boosh has its moments, but for the most part, the humor is just bizarre and somewhat disturbing. At least that damn Xavier show isn't aired now. I also hate Morbid Obeso, it's a sucky generic anime show. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.
DerekZoolandah
They also now play King of the Hill, a show only a Texan could understand. I wasn't planning on replying since I agreed for the most part, and so I have no idea if anyone replied to this part about KOTH, but it is undoubtably the best cartoon there is in my books. Even after seeing an episode 20 times, I still laugh at it. It's a hilarious, down to earth show, and MUCH more realistic than other cartoons and reality shows themselves. The pace is great and easy to follow. /rant. I present to you men, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Norton I. What a guy.
RpgGamer
Cartoon Network has gone down the toilet since Tom 2 died. Even when Tom died, it started sliding. Nickalodean has fallen to a similiar fate. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. A lot of the humour is more subtle than other shows, but once you've seen several episodes, you can spot them really easily. I present to you men, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Norton I. What a guy.
